KANGALOOLA – KANGA & WALLABY POUCHES
This is the one and only guide to follow if you wish to sew kangaroo and wallaby pouches for Kangaloola Wildlife Shelter.
Please note that all other designs out there are not appropriate for us and our animals and we do not use them.
Materials to be used (and only these are appropriate):
For Large Kangaroo Pouch:
Thick cotton material on the outside (like a cotton drill but not corduroy or anything that heavy) and
New Polar fleece (must not have pills) on the inside
For Lined Pouch “A”:
Fleecy on the outside, and
New Polar Fleece (must not have pills) on the inside
For Pouch Liners “B”:
New Polar Fleece (must not have pills)
All material must be washed in a water only rinse either before or after construction before being delivered to the shelter. (Materials must be free from harsh dyes and are not permitted to be washed with fabric softener as these both kill wildlife).
!As per each pouch instructions, there should not be any seams on the inside of any of the pouches as they rub on the animals.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY LOOSE THREADS THAT THE ANIMALS CAN SUCK ON
